Originally Dutch, I now live and work in Winchester, Hampshire UK, with my husband and 2 children.
I love being in the elements, cooking, playing saxophone, horse riding, gardening, reading, music and above all enjoying life!
I’ve been working over 15 years in both commercial and non-profit (IT) industry as an engineer, consultant, salesperson, (project) manager and program manager. In 2003 I was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive breast cancer, a major wake-up call and turning point in my life!
During this period of big changes life coaching helped me to redesign my life and to get back on track. I got “infected” by the power and impact of coaching simply because it works!

From my vision that everyone has the right to choose a happy, fulfilling life, I became a life coach.

I've completed my professional coaching degree early 2008 at the prestigious Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the first coach training school to have its programs accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Since then it has been a constant curve of development and learning with more training, courses, seminars, supervision and in developing workshops and trainings, and the learning will never stop.

Over 2009-2010 I've developed a special coaching programme called LYLAC: Live Your Life After Cancer. An innovative and effective way to help people move forward in life after cancer treatment, using my personal cancer experience and life coaching skills.

Besides coaching I volunteer for 2 charities (WRVS and fundraising at Macmillan Cancer Support) because adding value to the community is one of my personal values. More about my background and experience is on LinkedIn.
